Hope you all had a good summer. The Library has been busy while you've been away and there are quite a few changes that have been made to the Library services. Here's a quick run down;
1.
Library Pin - Your library pin number is now the same as your Ucard pin number. If you don't know what yours is go to
https://www.shef.ac.uk/cics/password, login with your University username & password and choose option 6 to have your PIN e-mailed to you. You can also change your Ucard pin by selecting option 9.
2. Automatic Renewals - From now on as long as no-one has requested your books we will automatically renew
them for you. We will send you an e-mail to let you know if any of your
books cannot be renewed due to requests on them, and we will also send
you a weekly borrowing statement to remind you which books you have out
on loan and highlight any that have been requested.
Keep up-to-date with you Library account by always checking your weekly borrowing statement!
3. Fines - Fines are now only charged for the late return of requested items but
will because of this accumulate at the rate of £2 per day. So again remember to check your library
account and borrowing statements regularly!
4. Loan Entitlements -UGs and PGTs can now borrow up to 25 items at any one time - so you'll never run low on bedtime reading.
